Welcome to Istanbul
Welcome to Istanbul, where you will be met at
the airport and transferred to your hotel in the
heart of the old city. Tonight, meet your guide and
the rest of your group. Overnight Istanbul. |

DAY
2.
Monday
23rd April |
Istanbul old city, twilight
cruise
After breakfast, you enjoy a fully guided
tour of the only city to span two continents,
visiting the Blue Mosque, the Aya Sofya, Topkapi
Palace, the Underground Cistern and the Hippodrome.
Tonight, an evening you won’t forget on the
moonlight cruise along the mighty Bosphorus, drinks
for sale. Overnight Istanbul. Breakfast.

DAY 3.
Tuesday 24th April |
|
Gallipoli battlefields tour
Depart for Gallipoli early morning
and head towards the World War Battlefields of
Gallipoli for a fully guided tour of this now serene
site. Visit the Lone Pine Australian Memorial and
Chunuk Bair New Zealand Memorial, ANZAC Cove and
Kaba Tepe Gallipoli Museum. Straight after the tour
we head for the site of the dawn service to get a
good spot. Tonight, soak up the vibrant atmosphere
under the stars waiting for the break of dawn.
Overnight at Dawn Service. Breakfast and dinner box.

DAY 4.
Wednesday 25th April |
ANZAC
Day at Gallipoli
Awake before sunrise to the ANZAC
Dawn Service and commemorate our fallen forefathers
on this special day. Also attend the Australian &/or
New Zealand Memorial services. Overnight Kucukkuyu.
Breakfast/lunchbox and dinner. |

DAY 5.
Thursday 26th April |
Acropolis of Pergamum
Today we head south and on the way
we enjoy a guided tour of the magnificent acropolis
of the ancient city of Pergamum. Overnight Kusadasi.

DAY 6.
Friday 27th April |
Ephesus,
Kusadasi
Stand in awe at the technology once
used in Roman times, with a tour of the ancient city
of Ephesus. Feel the mystical atmosphere of the city
halls and stadium where chariot and horse races were
once held. Turkey produces some of the finest
leather goods in the world and after Ephesus we go
to a leather goods display. Turkey produces some of

made here before branding in Italy. We also visit a
carpet village and learn how carpets are made by
hand and what determines their value. Overnight

DAY 7.
Saturday 28th April |
|
Pamukkale, Hierapolis
Leaving the coast we drive east for the
calcium terraces of Pamukkale (cotton castles). You
also visit the ruins of Hierapolis, an ancient
health spa, just above the calcium terraces.
Overnight Pamukkale. Breakfast and dinner.

DAY 8. Sunday
29th April |
Konya,
Caravansary, Ihlara Valley
Today we visit the Mevlana Museum in
Turkey’s religious Capital, Konya. We then stop on
the ancient Silk Road at the Caravansary,
Sultanhani. In the afternoon we trek through the
beautiful Ihlara Valley, a region once favoured by
Byzantine monks. Tonight, don’t miss the optional
traditional Turkish folklore evening! Overnight
Cappadocia. Breakfast. |

DAY 9. Monday 30th
April |
Cappadocia, Goreme, Uchisar castle
This incredible region hosts many
spectacular sights and we tour the Goreme open-air
museum, Pasabag and Uchisar castle. Photo
opportunities are everywhere so have your cameras
ready! Tonight, don’t miss the optional Turkish
folklore evening featuring folklore and belly
dancers… a night you won’t forget! Overnight
Cappadocia. Breakfast and dinner. |

Nation’s Capital Ankara
In the nation’s capital, Ankara, we
visit the Civilization’s Museum and the Mausoleum of
Turkey’s first President, Ataturk. Overnight

After breakfast our tour concludes
