If you are looking for a great deal in Istanbul, this hotel really is it. The rooms are very clean and pleasant, the staff very friendly and helpful (spot on in terms of recommendations), and the breakfast is very good. The location is great for tourists, but given how cheap taxis are in Istanbul you can base yourself here and just grab a taxi whenever you need to venture outside the more touristy area (which is what I do). I have stayed in this hotel many times and will continue to do so, as it is consistently excellent in the price/class range

This is a good hotel if you plan on doing lots of sightseeing in the Sultanahment area of Istanbul which is where a lot of the old mosques and the Grand Bazaar are. The hotel is located about a 5 minute walk from the Hagia Sophia and the right near the Sultanahmet Mosque. We stayed here in October 2004 for our honeymoon
